New Partnership with Ben’s Ranch Foundation

New Partnership with Ben’s Ranch Foundation

The Pursuit Institute is pleased to announce a new partnership with Ben’s Ranch Foundation. This year, Ben’s Ranch piloted an animal science program with a single high school student who spends two hours each day working directly with the horses, gaining experience in nutrition, reproduction, horsemanship and more.

The pilot was such a success that we are expanding the program to 10 students for the 2026–27 school year. Participating students will complete the full Animal Science pathway during their junior year, with the option to continue into a capstone experience as seniors. If students have already completed Animal Science at their home high school, they can go straight into a capstone experience.

While students will work closely with the horses at Ben’s Ranch, they will also have opportunities to gain real-world experience off campus, including visits to dairy farms, sheep farms, feed specialists, veterinarians and more.

This partnership offers an exceptional, immersive learning experience for students interested in animal science and agricultural careers. For more information on Ben’s Ranch, please visit https://bensranch.org/.
