Workforce Training Programs

Since 2022, Invest Hamilton County has been facilitating multiple training programs for justice involved and/or recovery populations across Hamilton County. In 2024, Invest Hamilton County launched and expanded multiple programs for justice-involved, mental health and underemployed populations across the community. Community partners include the Hamilton County Sheriff’s TOWER program, Hamilton County Community Corrections, Aspire Indiana Health, and other community partners.   • NRise and Reskill Training - offered monthly

Rise & Reskill is a hands-on workforce readiness program — offered through Invest Hamilton County’s Invest Onward Program and Ivy Tech — designed to support individuals who are justice-involved and/or in recovery as they prepare for employment. Across two interactive sessions, participants build real skills in resume writing, interview prep, and professional communication to take confident next steps toward work or education. Click here to learn more about the program and register.

  • NBuilding & Property Maintenance Program

Invest Hamilton County and Ivy Tech Hamilton County offer a two-week, full-time Building & Property Maintenance Training Program where participants earn OSHA 10 certification and hands-on skills for high-demand careers. Employers can connect with job-ready graduates or upskill their current workforce.

  • NGolden Opportunities Hospitality Certification

In partnership with Aspire Indiana Health, this intensive four-day training program equips participants with the skills and industry-recognized AHLEI Guest Service Gold certification needed to launch a career in hospitality. Offered twice a year and taught by industry leaders, this is your opportunity to gain real-world credentials and step confidently into a growing field.
