What attracted you to living/working in Hamilton County?
Recently married, my husband and I lived in Anderson. I worked nights at the newspaper in Muncie and my husband worked days in Westfield. He said he kept driving through this really cute town called Noblesville. I applied for a job at the newspaper, and in late 1989, we moved to Hamilton County to the really cute city of Noblesville, where we spent a lot of time eating too much ice cream at Alexanders and going to community events and festivals. We moved nearly 30 years ago to Fishers, raised two children, and they both live in Hamilton County with their growing families.
What is your favorite thing to do in Hamilton County?
There’s no way I can pick just one thing. I love to go to shows at The Tarkington, check out new restaurants and breweries all over the county, go to free concerts at the Nickel Plate Amphitheater and community festivals, such as the annual Peony Festival in Noblesville, Christkindlmarkt and International Arts Festival in Carmel.

Taking a picnic to Symphony on the Prairie at Conner Prairie and listening to great music under the stars with friends and family.
