The Hamilton County Economic Development Corporation (HCED) is pleased to announce the election of four new officers to lead its board of directors for the next two years.
  • Tom Dickey, Managing Director-Real Estate at Hageman Group, will serve as chairman.
  • Sue Finkam, a member of the Carmel City Council, will be vice chair.
  • Corby Thompson, president at Boomerang Development, LLC, will be the board's treasurer.
  • And Mark LaBarr, district manager at Duke Energy, will be its secretary.
Outgoing Chairman Bruce Kettler, director of public relations at Beck's Superior Hybrids, will serve as past chairman during the officers' two-year term.
 
New officers are elected every two years at the annual board meeting.

The Hamilton County Economic Development Corporation is a partnership of business and local government, including Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Sheridan, Arcadia, Cicero, Atlanta and Hamilton County. This public-private partnership exists to promote and enhance the business climate, economic vitality and sustainability, and quality of life in Hamilton County, Indiana. HCED seeks to foster corporate investment and job creation, to broaden the tax base through the development of commercial and industrial real estate in Hamilton County.
