FISHERS — A portion of downtown Fishers has been designated as a Certified Technology Park, allowing the city to collect incremental tax revenue in the area and use it to attract new development there.
City leaders—who have been working to establish Fishers as a smart, vibrant and entrepreneurial city—applied for the state designation in April 2015 and won approval on April 25. It is the first Certified Technology Park in Hamilton County.
